Wild for the Planet - Los Angeles Zoo

The L.A. Zoo is celebrating Earth Day with a weekend of fun activities. I'll be reading from "Angela & Lulingu: Two Gorillas, A World Apart" at 12 & 2 p.m. in Adventure Theater (in the Children's Zoo). Copies of the book will be available for purchase. (If you have any old cell phones to recycle, bring them along and you'll be helping to save gorillas.)
L.A. Times Festival of Books
Saturday, September 26 1, 1 - 3 p.m.
Stop by the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators L.A. chapter's booth (#826 in the Green Zone) at the L.A. Times book fest, on the campus of USC. Festival admission is free, and it will be packed with authors, publishers, and other exhibitors. I'll be there Saturday only, 1-3 p.m., signing copies of "Angela & Lulingu," "Zoo Crew" and other kids books.
